Services

If you are going away on vacation or a business trip I offer "full service" visits to take care of all of your pet's needs.  You choose how many visits are needed for your pets.  Please click rates for more information.

All Full Service Visits Include:

• Lots of love and individual attention
• Fresh food and water
• Exercise and play time
• Giving medications or other special care
• Litter box cleaning
• Clean up of any indoor pet messes.
• Basic freshwater aquarium maintenance
• Bringing in your mail and newspapers
• Watering indoor plants
• Adjusting lights
• Other minor household tasks as needed.

Full service rates also include 1 initial consultation which is mandatory so you and your pets can meet me and we can discuss your pets' needs.  During this visit we will also exchange all pertinent information and I will pick-up your house key.

Full service visits are available 7 days a week from 8 am - 10 pm.  After hours visits are subject to a $10 additional charge per visit.

Full Service visits made on holidays are subject to a $15 additional charge per day.  Applicable holidays are: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4^th of July, Labor Day, and  the Thanksgiving long weekend ( Thursday-Sunday.)

Please note that I am willing to take care of most kinds of animals, but at this time I am unable to care for large livestock (horses, cows etc).  I am also unable to care for snakes or other animals that need  to be fed live mammals.  If you are unsure if your pet falls into these categories, please email or call me.  I reserve the right to refuse to care for animals that are aggressive or poorly behaved.

To make a reservation please email me 7 days a week, or call me at 203-975-0820 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. It is advised to book at least 2 weeks in advance to allow time for our initial interview.  Please book well in advance for holidays as they are booked up quickly!

WHILE YOU ARE AT WORK

If you work all day, or are a busy stay-at-home parent I can offer you and your pets some relief!  I offer "daily dog walks" intended to give your dog a walk, play or elimination break during the day.  If you have pets other than dogs that need a break, I can help with that too! Daily dog walk visits do NOT include full pet sitting services.  See full service, or rates for more information.

 Daily Dog Walks Include:

• Individual outdoor* walk or playtime for 20 minutes.
• 10 minutes cool down time with lots of love and attention
• Reinforcement of obedience training if requested.
• Fresh water

*In extreme hot or cold temperatures outdoor time may be shortened.  Indoor play will be substituted.  Very hot and very cold pavement can be hard on dog's paws.  Dogs can easily suffer heat exhaustion in hot weather. 

Daily dog walks are available Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm ONLY.  Not available on holidays.  Applicable holidays are:  Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4^th of July, Labor Day, and  the Thanksgiving long weekend ( Thursday-Sunday.)

Dog walks are for individual dogs only.  NO "pack" walking.  Daily dog walks may be split between 2 dogs, but for more than 2 dogs you must reserve extra walks accordingly.  I reserve the right to refuse to walk/care for aggressive or poorly behaved dogs.

Other Services:

Other services are available on an "as needed" basis, or by special request. Click rates for more information.  Other possible services include:

• Emergency vet visits
• Pet Supply pick-up/drop off
• Emergency key pick-up/drop off.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT KEYS:

It is FREE to securely store your extra house key with me.  All keys are coded and never have your address on the actual key.  Keys are stored in a locked security box.  This is preferable to having to pick up and drop off a key each time you go away.  Key pick-ups and drop-offs will be charged at a rate of $10.00 per instance after initial consultation.  For more information about key storage please email me.
